About
Ambassador Creative Expressions is dedicated to producing creative
media and to providing helpful resources that reveal the Lord
Jesus Christ and His Church. We have a passion to see a return
to the simple expression of first-century Christianity and to
help ignite a revolution in the practice of the Christian
faith today by making Jesus Christ central in all things.
Jon K. Slusser
Jon is a former licensed minister who mainly moved within Pentacostal, Charismatic, Third Wave, Apostolic and Prophetic Movement circles but who also uniquely crossed denominational lines. Later, after having a "crisis of conscience", Jon made the tough decision to leave the institutional church and ministry in search of more organic expressions of Christian life. Since then, Jon has gathered with first-century styled house churches as a simple brother (as a non-leader) in a great time of relearning and retooling. After this season, Jon plans to reestablish his church planting efforts - envisioning new organic church life communities thriving in cities throughout the world.
Jon is now self-supportive and works for a living. In his spare time, he speaks and writes on Christ and The Church. Jon lives in an intentional house church community in the metro Atlanta area with his wife DeDe and their five beautiful children.
Jon is also a drummer and prefers Peace Drums, Zildjian cymbals, and Vic Firth sticks.

DeDe Swint-Slusser
DeDe (pronounced dee-dee) shares her life experiences through simple messages of song with an ultimate goal of drawing the listener and herself closer to God. This wife and mother grew up in suburban Atlanta and later began leading praise and worship. DeDe soon found herself writing and sharing her own material in what she admits was a natural progression for her. She sees writing her own material as a means of expression for the whole of life's experiences.
Still, several of DeDe's songs maintain her commitment to an ongoing devotion to Christ. Her passion for living in awe of God's love is clearly heard in "So Wonderful", which she describes as a song of rejoicing. Wanting to share her past experiences along with her current day to day life, she says that some of her writing is almost "spontaneous", just spilling onto the page. Still, some of her songs, such as "Consummation" require more than one listen to truly understand the depth of her honest, poetic lyrics.
While recording "From The Fields of Boaz" (EP) at Nashville's historic Woodland Studios in just four days, DeDe experienced a time of great learning with many helpful, thoughtful people including producer Matthew Perryman Jones. She hopes this album is the first of many on her musical journey, and invites you to enter into worship through her music and cultivate a deeper relationship with Christ.
