College Club
The Deeper Christian Life Club
A new campus group at the University of West Georgia in Carrolton
- Are you dissatisfied with church as usual?
- Do you desire to serve the Lord but feel restricted by traditional church settings?
- Do you have a heart to know the Lord deeply but feel turned off by popular Christian trends?
- Have you ever asked yourself, "Is this all there is?" in regards to your faith?
Here is a helpful statement taken from our "constitution" that
describes the overall purpose of the club:
"The primary purpose of this organization is to provide an atmosphere
for the university community to engage in conversation concerning
Christian expressions that are outside the organized, institutional, or
traditional church structures. Our goal is to stimulate open-ended
dialogue regarding the ongoing search for a deeper experience of Christ
as a corporate pursuit, the story and practice of the first-century
believers, and the state of the post-modern church. We seek to support
an environment that is stimulating for Christians of all backgrounds
and for those investigating the Christian faith. These goals will be
achieved through regular meetings, a mobile media library or store,
periodic seminars, conferences, retreats, lectures, concerts, and the
like. This organization will not be for profit or non-commercial in
nature."
